Charles Read is a semi-retired Security Advisor and C-suite security, investigations, and intelligence executive; his troubleshooting and problem-solving services have been sought by executives, Fortune companies, law offices, accounting firms, and police departments since 1993.


Mr. Read’s vast and diverse expertise was honed during concurrent military and law enforcement careers. His tenures with the New York State Police and Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General include dignitary protection, firearms training & special weapons, major criminal investigations, and assignment to several high-profile federal task force operations. His military service was both broad and diverse; his accomplishments include service as a US Coast Guard Intelligence and Logistics Officer (counter-terror) at the Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles and as the Senior Force Protection Adviser for the US Air Force Special Operations Command in Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf War.


Major Read was a Commanding Officer and a Chief of Security Police within the elite USAF Special Operations Command where his responsibilities included all aspects of resource protection, airbase ground defense, and law enforcement; he led and directed force protection activities in support of special operations missions in the United States, England, Korea, Japan, Honduras, Puerto Rico, and Saudi Arabia.


Mr. Read received his degree from Excelsior College and is a graduate of the PENN State Police Executive Development Institute and the University of North Carolina, School of Government. He served for many years as a Certified Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureaus and as an Adjunct Instructor of Criminal Justice and Leadership Development at Valley Forge Military College.
